About Juneau County Criminal History

Juneau County criminal records are split among the Sheriff's Records Unit, Circuit Court, Wisconsin Department of Justice Crime Information Bureau, Wisconsin Department of Corrections, and WI Stay Safe registry. Each office keeps a different part of the record. This private reference brings the official search links, request routes, addresses, and phone contacts into one clear path so readers can start with the custodian that actually holds the information.

Why We Built This Site

Wisconsin law favors access to public records, yet access still depends on asking the right custodian. Juneau County Sheriff's Records maintains sheriff-created incident and arrest material. The Clerk of Circuit Court holds the official case file, while WCCA displays its public docket data. Wisconsin DOJ's Crime Information Bureau produces the statewide criminal-history response, Wisconsin DOC reports custody or supervision, and WI Stay Safe publishes the lawful registry subset. We organize those separate channels with their official contacts, fees where verified, and practical request steps.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site, not part of Juneau County, a Wisconsin court, a police department, or any state agency. Those boundaries mean we cannot perform official government functions:

  • We do not issue certified court files, rap sheets, police reports, or booking records
  • We cannot submit a public-record request, challenge, or expungement petition for a reader
  • We do not run an official Wisconsin background check for any person
  • We cannot interpret a charge, order, or legal remedy as personal legal advice
  • We cannot promise that an agency's fee, hours, staff, or contact details have not changed

An official record must come from its custodian, such as Juneau County Sheriff's Records, the Circuit Court clerk, or Wisconsin DOJ's Crime Information Bureau.

Search Partners

Third-party providers power search boxes that appear on some pages. They operate independently, set their own prices, and control their results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports this free reference. We do not set the provider's charges or decide what its search returns.
